The State Nominated Occupation List for the state of Victoria was updated on 3 March 2014.

2013:  Update of 10 September

The State of Victoria updated two State Nomination Occupation Lists. The first was the general list; the second, the List for Graduates.

This is the second update of 2013. Each list is updated twice per year. The updates reflect the occupations now in demand.

Removed from the Skilled Occupation List

The removed occupations are below. You can still apply until Tuesday 24 September 2013 for:

  • Accountant (General)
  • Carpenter
  • Carpenter and Joiner
  • External Auditor
  • Joiner
  • Plumber (General)
  • Surveyor.

Added to the Skilled Occupation List

The added occupations were:

  • Child Care Centre Manager
  • Health Information Manager
  • Metal Machinist (First Class)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Physicist (Medical Physicist only)
  • Primary School Teacher (with specialisation in languages).
