ARCHIVE Some Family Visas Closed – Receipts Delayed

Applications for Other Family and Non-Contributory Parent family visas stopped on 2 June 2014, following an announcement made in the 2014 Federal Budget. On 21 July delays to registration of applications was announced.

If you applied prior to the closing date, don’t worry. Those applications are still being processed. They are, however, taking approximately 6 weeks to be receipted.

Because applications for these visas are processed in order of the date lodged, the processing time will not be affected.
